Building Brighter Futures
We are a UK-based charity operating five free schools in Pakistan and
Azad Kashmir, offering a route out of poverty for some of the poorest
children in the region.
Our Schools
We currently run five schools for children from disadvantaged backgrounds, regardless of gender or religion. Our schools are known as Allama Iqbal Schools and are based in Dina, Islamgarh, Mian Muhammed Town, Khari Sharif and Jatlan.
Students in our schools follow a curriculum that emphasises English, maths, modern Arabic and IT, laying the foundations for further education or skilled work. We employ fully qualified graduate teachers who use the Oxford University Press syllabus. All our students learn in a co-educational setting.
Our schools provide a free cooked lunch daily, which for many children, is their main meal of the day. Uniforms, books and stationery are also supplied to students free of charge.
We are fortunate to be able to draw on our strong links with the region and the community to ensure that our schools are well maintained and professionally run.
Our Students
We are proud to be able to offer 800 children the life-changing opportunity to learn. You can help build their future.

Your Donations
As a small charity, Superhands keeps its UK operating costs as low as possible so that as much funding as possible can be invested in our educational programmes. We operate without a physical office and our trustees personally cover all of their own travel and expenses. We also work hard to secure grants that help fund our running costs, meaning more of the donations we receive from individuals can be used to support our schools and the children who attend them.
